The Clever Fox Rolex and the Trusting Goat Choti: A Tale of Friendship, Trust, and Wisdom

Once upon a time, in a peaceful forest, there lived a clever fox named Rolex and a kind goat named Choti. Despite their differences, the two had always been friendly neighbors, living near a crystal-clear river in the middle of the woods. This river was famous for its sweet, refreshing water.

One hot summer day, Rolex the Fox was wandering through the forest, feeling very thirsty. "Oh, I need some water!" he said to himself. He rushed toward the river eager to quench his thirst.

But in his excitement, Rolex wasn't careful. He leaned too far over the edge, lost his balance, and plop—he fell right into the river! The water was cool, but the river was too slippery for him to climb back out. Rolex tried and tried, but he couldn't escape. He was stuck.

Just as Rolex was about to give up, along came Choti the Goat. She trotted up to the river and was also feeling quite thirsty.

Rolex's Trickery:

"Hello, Choti!" called Rolex from the middle of the river, trying to sound cheerful. "It’s me, Rolex! I've found the sweetest water down here. Why don’t you come down and join me for a drink?"

Choti looked down at Rolex. "But how did you get down there?" she asked.

"Oh, I just climbed down," said Rolex, trying to sound clever. "The water is so cool and refreshing—you should join me! Then we can figure out how to get back up together afterward."

Choti's Kindness:

Choti, being kind-hearted but sometimes a bit too trusting, thought this sounded like a good idea. "Alright," she said, hopping into the river without thinking twice.

Now both Choti and Rolex were trapped in the river. Choti drank the water happily at first, but after a while, she began to realize they were stuck.

" Rolex, how are we going to get out of here?" Choti a asked, her voice worried.

The fox's cunning:

Rolex, being the cunning fox he was, had already thought of a plan. "Don't worry, Choti," he said. "I have an idea. You see, if you stand on your hind legs and press your front hooves against the river, I can climb on your back and jump out. Once I'm out, I'll pull you up too."

Choti, always kind and wanting to help, agreed. She positioned herself as Rolex instructed. Rolex quickly climbed onto her back and leaped out of the river. He was free!

But once Rolex was out, he didn’t look back. He flicked his tail and began to trot away, leaving poor Choti still stuck in the river.

" Rolex! What about me?" she cried.

Rolex turned his head and slyly said, "You should have thought about that before jumping in. Next time, be careful who you trust!"

With that, Rolex disappeared into the forest, leaving Choti alone.

Luckily, a group of friendly birds heard Choti 's cries for help. They quickly flew to the nearby village, where a kind farmer came and helped pull Choti out of the reiver. Choti was grateful to be free but felt sad about how Rolex had tricked her.

From that day forward, Choti learned an important lesson that is
